The 1984 Hatteras 53 Extended Deck Motor Yacht is notable for its very large saloon. This boat has had a full-length custom hard-top enclosure for the flybridge. The Detroit Diesels were rebuilt in 2013 with less than 950 hours on them, and the Kohler 20 KW generator was installed in 2012. The upgraded galley has Kitchen Aid stove / oven / microwave and a Fisher & Paykel refrigerator / freezer. Other upgrades include new installation of a lithium - ion house battery bank, Victron inverter, and alternator to charge these batteries without generator use. Glendenning Cablemaster power cable at bow. New automatic voltage regulator / boosters for insufficient shore voltage. There is a new Hull Shield anti - fouling system. This is arguably the best representation of this model on the market.
