MIYC Fishing Club

Looking for friends to fish with? You've got them at Marco Island Yacht Club! This active group sets one or two fishing trips a month, typically one backwater and one offshore outing. They've also ventured farther afield, fishing for tarpon off Islamorada, snook in the St. Lucie River on the Atlantic side, and yellow tail off Key West.

Monthly luncheon meetings are held at the Club to talk fish tales, share information and tips and plan the next outings.

Sometimes the Club ventures even farther, such as their trip to Costa Rica to fish for yellowfin tuna, sailfish and roosterfish. In 2023 members enjoyed an exciting trip catching sailfish in Guatemala!
